We're applying for funding to run a twelve-week program for twelve musicians in central Victoria, free to take part, out of our studio in Castlemaine.
Six sessions on the actual work: who you're talking to and what you're saying, how paid ads work, how to plan a release, how to pitch, and how to tell afterwards whether any of it did anything. Three evenings with people who work in it, a promoter, a label or manager, a festival programmer. Then you put the whole lot into practice on a release of your own with us alongside you, and we finish with a show.
It isn't funded yet, and that's what this page is for. If it's something you'd want, tell us, because the people who put their hand up go into the application as the reason it should exist. Two minutes, and it helps more than you'd think :)
